  1. So what was your excuse a year ago? http://www.suckseggs.com/?p=10

  2. Looks like the quiz is popular right now. Kate is the Green Lantern and Karen is Spider Man. Although, the runner-up for each of them is Iron Man. I AM IRON MAN.

  4. Lets talk about the REAL issue here, which is I posted this a year ago. Also, I’m Spider Man (both in 2006 and 2007).

  5. I remember having a Green Lantern action figure as a kid - he was cool. I don’t actually know who Iron Man is. So, I won’t say I’m jealous, but I will at least concede that the Green Lantern is cool.

  6. When my dad was a kid his favorite super hero was Green Lantern. GL (as we “nerds” call him) was given a “Power Ring” by the Guardians of OA to defend the galaxy or some such nonsense. I mean the logisitcs of it are raelly absurd. But, his ring is only limited to the imagination of the user (and it’s charge, like a cell phone) so he can pretty much do whatever he wants. Iron Man is cool because he’s not really a super-powered being (neither is GL, for that matter), but he is still extremely powerful. Plus he made the suit himself, unlike GL who was given his ring.

I could go on and on, but I think that’s enough for today. I’m pretty sure if there was a super hero called “Tool Boy” that would be me. For now, I’ll stick with Spidey.

  7. I think this is reason enough to treat myself to a new ring. Maybe an emerald one.

One version of Green Lantern says that the ring wouldn’t work on anything yellow. Another said he had to hold it up to the lantern to recharge it every single day. That would suck, but I guess it would be worth it for the magical powers. (Thanks to encarta, um i mean wikipedia for my info.)

Tom, you seem to be just as much The Flash as Ironman. I wonder how it decided.

  8. [...] After commenting on one of Tom’s latest posts, I came to realize I’m a nerd. However, instead of pretending otherwise, I decided to give you proof. Below is a list (yet another example) I made a few years ago of all the comics I own, including some notes where I deemed them to be necessary. Enjoy. [...]
