Millionaire Households

Filed under: interesting — Tom @ 9:34 am

Q: How many millionaire households do you think are in King County, WA (Seattle’s county)

A: 68,390. I’m not sure what my guess would have been, but I doubt it would have been this high. There are approximately 710,916 households in King County - which would mean that almost 1 in 10 households has a net worth of a million or more (not including primary residence). I’d assume this is due to the fact that the county includes Bellevue, Redmond, Mercer Island, and Medina (Gates’ house). Only about a third of King County residents live in Seattle.

  2. I hadn’t noticed, but you’re right. Reading them was a good time. I was surprised to see so many people articulating a libertarian/ conservative point of view.
