Both companies have approved the deal, which should officially close in the fourth quarter. YouTube\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 65 employees will remain with the company at YouTube\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s San Bruno headquarters.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I don&#8217;t understand spending well over a billion dollars for something that is positioned to get hammered in copyright-violation-related <a href=\"http:\/\/startups.gigaom.com\/2006\/10\/08\/youtube-google-cuban\/\">lawsuits<\/a>, uses technologies that you, by and large, <a href=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/\" title=\"Google Video\">already have<\/a>, and probably loses money.
