{"id":570,"date":"2008-07-07T23:57:23","date_gmt":"2008-07-08T07:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lianza.org\/blog\/?p=570"},"modified":"2008-07-07T23:57:23","modified_gmt":"2008-07-08T07:57:23","slug":"massive-condo-building-coming-soon-near-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lianza.org\/blog\/2008\/07\/07\/massive-condo-building-coming-soon-near-me\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive condo building coming soon near me?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the spot where <a href=\"http:\/\/dreams.zinzanni.org\/\">Teatro Zinzanni<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=5th+and+Battery+Seattle,+wa&#038;ie=UTF8&#038;oe=utf-8&#038;client=firefox-a&#038;ll=47.617345,-122.344372&#038;spn=0.007174,0.015385&#038;t=h&#038;z=16&#038;iwloc=addr\">used to be<\/a>, there is a map depicting a huge, two-tower 41 story building called <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlecondosandlofts.com\/2007\/11\/clise-parcel-sold\">the Insignia Towers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After doing a little reading on the <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlecondosandlofts.com\/\">Seattle Condos and Lofts Blog<\/a> it appears development has been put on hold.  This is, evidently, becoming a fairly common occurrence in the Seattle market.  Similar things are happening with <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlecondosandlofts.com\/2008\/07\/heron-pagoda-on-hold\">The Heron Pagoda<\/a> (&#8220;&#8230;due to a faltering economy, poor local condo sales and lack of financing for parts of the complex&#8230;&#8221;), the <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlecondosandlofts.com\/2008\/06\/ava-hardly-knew-ya\">Ava Condo and Hotel<\/a>, and there&#8217;s evidently a standstill with the <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlecondosandlofts.com\/2008\/05\/european-tower-update\">Stewart &#038; Minor <\/a>hotel and loft project.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know enough about the Seattle real estate market to know if this is common, but I found it interesting.  Some of these places look like they might be quite nice.
