I was expecting Schulte to post this story first, but in any case… lets find that tape!

Confess at GroupHug
A coworker sent me this link. It’s somewhat similar to an old site called kvetch from back in the day. People go there and post anonymous confessions for the world to see. Some pretty funny stuff there. I wonder what percentage of them are true versus totally made up (some are obviously made up).
How to render the Segway Obosolete
Another funny bit from the Best Page in the Universe.
4 blades: it was bound to happen
Yesterday I saw the first commercial for the Schick Quattro – the first razor with more than 3 blades. Needless to say, Gilette tried to sue them. I’d consider buying this razor (apparently others like it) but I think I’ll hold off until the five-blade comes around. I’d really like to shave my whole face in one swoop if possible.
Hogging
This is one of the most morally questionable activities I’ve ever read about.
Levitra Commercial
If you watch sports, such as the Red Sox game right now, you must have seen the Levitra commercial. The commercial itself doesn’t tell you what the drug is or does. It just shows a man throwing a football through a tire swing, and the football keeps bouncing off the rim. Then -presumably after he takes the drug- he starts throwing the football right through the tire swing. They show this a few times, sometimes in slow motion. His wife comes out with a big smile on her face, to watch him throw the ball through the tire.
Later on when you realize the drug is for erectile dysfunction, the commercial becomes hilarious.
Hilarious Show
I don’t know how many people have heard of this show or how popular it is, but this evening I saw a tape of Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. Probably one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen. They’ve taken some bizarre Japanese game show, and redubbed all of the words in English and changed them so that it looks like they’re saying some really funny stuff. The games they’re playing are themselves hilarious as well. Worth watching if you happen to catch it.
The Onion: Columbia Shuttle Infographic
The infographic from The Onion this week was quite amusing. Check it out here.
Whoops.
Not unlike how Schulte must have felt the morning after his wedding, this guy awoke from the operating table to find something missing…
Hilarious Spam
I recently received the following message via e-mail:
Hello,
I’m a time traveler stuck here in 2003.
Upon arriving here my dimensional warp generator stopped working. I trusted a company here by the name of LLC Lasers to repair my Generation 3 52 4350A watch unit, and they fled on me.
Since nobody in this timeline seems to be able to deliver what I need (safely here to me), I will have to build a simple time travel circuit to get where I need myself. While it might be hard to find parts in this time to build anything decent, I need easy to follow schematics from the future to build one which is safe and accurate that will not disrupt the time space continuum with both forward and backward capability accounting for temporal location settings (X, Y, Z, n), which can be built out of (readily available) parts here in 2003. Please email me any plans you have. I will pay good money for anything you send me I can use. Or if you have a dimensional warp generator available, and are 100% certain you have a (safe secure) means of delivering it to me please also reply with a secure way to contact you. Send a separate email to me at: [email protected].Do not reply back directly to this email as it will only be bounced back to you.
Thank You
Brian Appel
Funny stuff. Looks like I’m not the only one who received it, though. Another interesting blog article here.
