At the Natick Mall two weeks ago, we stumbled across what must be the coolest furniture store ever. It’s called LoveSac. They don’t make anything except these enormous bean-bag looking things (they’re not actually bean bags, they’re filled with shredded foam). You can get them as large as 6 feet and fit 3-4 people on them. They are comfortable as hell. You can re-shape them so you get back support for sitting upright, or flatten them out for lying down. How cool is that?

  1. That’s pretty damn cool … having just moved, the portability of these things makes them very attractive … that and the allure of the “Fun Foursome”

  3. Yeah, the 6-footer is a little unwieldy, but the 5-footer felt more portable. They are 50 bucks cheaper in the stores then online. I think they make a pretty neat substitute to an expensive/heavy loveseat. They still cost a fair bit though… you can get two futons for the price of one LoveSac.

  6. Just stumbled across this and thought I’d tell you about CordaRoys.com. They are a Florida-based company that makes basically the same product as a LoveSac, but theirs is the only one that also makes into a bed. It’s a simple idea that really works. I’ve sat in both of the products and I’m telling you, Corda-Roy’s is the best. Much cheaper, LIFETIME warranty, bla bla bla. Just thought you should know.

  7. CordaRoys, is alot cheaper in all senses of the word! Having compared the two of them…the CordaRoys really suck! LoveSac’s are worth the extra cost. The materials are MUCH better and it’s a whole lot softer! check out http://www.lovesac.com

  9. hehe, yeah, hurray LoveSuck. I tell ya what, I saw the lovesac and they seemed neat, but screw that price! Then I found cordaroys down in florida. So I quit my job and I now own and manage Cordaroys in Kansas City, MO. Its got a bed inside and its like $200 cheaper. Lifetime warranty, beat it with a stick baby.

  10. I saw the love sacs at the mall here in San Diego and thought that they were awesome. I think that my kids had more fun in the store than I did. I know that I have a problem with impuls buying, but I also like to really know what Im buying and make sure that it is a worthwhile quality product. The price on them was a little steep for something so simple. So I went home and looked them up on the net, ebay, and all the other sites that I thought I could find one cheeper. In turn I found 2 other bags that seemed of equal quality, the cordaroys, and poof/foof chairs. I wrote all three comments asking for differences between them and the others. I got replys from the other two but nothing from love sac. After many e-mails later and much debate I chose the cordaroy. I could have gotten the poof chair cheeper, but a bed in the bag put it over the edge for me. Plus the cordroys seem to have a better warrantee / guarantee. When I get my bag tomorow, trust me that I will make a visit to the mall to see which one I like better. If I think that the cordaroy bag is lacking I will go back and buy the poof chair. As for love sac they lost out, I believe that your customer service is as good as your product. I still have not heard anything from them and thinking of that 200% mark up kinda makes me cringe.   11. I am looking at buying a Lovesac and saw that on Ebay they have a product called Nap Sac. Does anyone know anything about these? I’m leaning towards getting a Lovesac even though the price is a bit much! Any info will help!

  12. For “joan,” here is some info on the NapSac. It is more a blanket than an actual LoveSac. Check out the online store for product info (www.lovesac.com). I apologize to “scott” for his experience with LoveSac. I work at their corporate office and we try to focus a lot on customer service. I’m not sure how your inquiry slipped through the cracks. We do our best to spread the love, and that includes making sure our customers are happy. It is our fault that didn’t happen this time.   15. i have really been wanting to purchase one of these types of products but i think lovesac is so over priced. I wish i knew why they are better. i dont mind paying if the quality is really that much better. but i am not exactly sure what it is about the product i should be comparing. and as far as the ones on ebay they are not really cheaper that lovesac unless you live in utah! if i am going to pay $450.00 after shipping i just as well go to the mall and pay $50.00 more and know i have a warranty!
