Though working on the computer and watching “Batman and Robin” on TNT may not sound like an exciting Saturday morning, that’s how I spent mine. In watching Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze I couldn’t help but wonder, why isn’t he using these awesome one-liners in his campagin? Oh sure, there’s plenty of comments about the “total recall” or “terminating Grey Davis”. What about “let’s kick some ice”, or “alright everybody, chill”? Cinematic gold.
Just figured everyone would want a follow-up on the Marlborough Mayoral race I mentioned a little while back. It turns out Chris “The Skunk” Antal has a little scandal on his hands (not unlike the Arnold stories). In digging through his past, someone found out he was charged with sexual assault a few years ago, and found guilty of assault and battery. Technically, he should be a registered sex offender.
“I would (have registered) if I was told that but (the arrest) was all before that registry stuff,” Antal said.
So, I’m looking for a half decent softball bat and I find one and decide to price it online. Here are a few of the places I checked:
Now, I know it’s not just coincidence that these four companies have virtually identical websites – right down to the product number and server technology (JSP). Some digging revealed that Gart and Sports Authority are the same company, but Dick’s is a totally different company from what I can tell, and Olympia doesn’t seem to be publicly traded. So, how do they all have the same bat at the same price available at the same time while running the same ground shipping promotion? There must be something tying these 4 companies together…
So I recently learned from my brother that one of our neighbors we grew up with is going to Dartmouth to play hockey. The kid was always into hockey, although we lost touch when I went to high school about 10 years ago.

Well, the invite (or should I say, Evite… bahahaha) was sent out almost two days ago, and so far 5 people are coming and 3 aren’t, with 7 “undecided.” So, so far it’s the goodfellas plus Schulte’s older brother. Goodtimes.
Anyhow, if you want to come to Foxwoods Casino on the 26th and see some strippers, and help pay for them, just contact me and we’ll hook you up. At this point it’s just fine if it’s the goodfellas and a bunch of strangers.
Well, the streak ended in full force today. I saw two movies and, thankfully, neither showed a man’s bare ass. One was Capturing the Friedmans which was quite good and didn’t show any naked behinds even though there was a lot of discussion about sodomy. The second was the 25th Hour which was decent, and although Edward Norton talked about getting raped in prison, thankfully no such scenes were present in the film.
So, since me and my 2 friends agreed we’d communicate solely through Web Logs… what’s the deal with Schulte’s bachelor party? I talked to the best man who pretty much said we should go at it. Have we done anything for it yet though? No. Do I have any free weekends between now and the wedding? Not really. Does it look like this thing will really get off the ground? It sure as hell doesn’t.
Although I’ve been working at this location for several months, I guess now it’s finally open.
Today Kim and I saw the film 28 Days Later. It was pretty cool… very creepy. Why is it worth mentioning here? Oh yes, it continued the streak of films with man ass. Probably also worth highlighting… this movie went another step forward and included full-frontal male nudity. I knew this movie would be scary, but I had no idea…
